RE: We now think this might have been made worse by 6.0.0 clients ... ~Umberto Nongeroson 12.Jul.03 06:56 AM a Web browser Domino Server All ReleasesLinux - RedHat
I should clarify what Andrew said... at the bottom of my original post I mentioned that we're now seeing databases go corrupt once we have clients/customers using them during their daily work. They do not go corrupt until they are actually used. Normally I would guess that it was a bug somewhere in our database design, except for the fact that it affects different databases which have completely different designs. Some are large databases (gigs), some are small (3 megs).
It only affects some of our clients, and seems to almost be in a pattern. We had word that some of our clients began upgrading to Notes 6 - I'm wondering if it may be causing the databases to go corrupt. I need to do more investigation and actually talk to the clients to find the pattern, but that's my early guess... It's very suspicious they don't go corrupt until they are used, and that only certain clients are affected.
